How I Got My Username

MangoShapedSpace prompted this post. She wondered how I got my username. It's quite an interesting story, here we go!

Well, I had seen an ad on a website for Animal Jam. It looked pretty fun so I went to animaljam.com. I asked a few friends at school if they played AJ. One said she did, but she had quit a month ago. She said it was fun, but very time-consuming. She told me things of "rares", "buddies", "lands", and games. I determined that I would check it out after school. This is where the account part comes in. I was creating my account. Originally, my username was going to be 4101leapardspots. Then, suddenly remembering my friend's glorious description of rares, I felt a strange little tug in my brain to change my username to: 4101leapprardsp1oqtwa. It felt like my mind was telling me, "Change your username to this, and you'll become rare." Being the sucker that I am for the stuff my brain tells me to do, I changed it and quickly entered a password. Then I entered the world of Animal Jam. 

So there's the story of why my username is what it is!
P.S. I"m taking a two week break from blogging.

Alpha Home?

Does an alpha live here?

Could an alpha possibly live in part of this hollowed-out tree? It seems like an acceptable home, don't you think? If so, what alpha could live there? Sir Gilbert perhaps? What do you think?

Mystery Lands

What are these mysterious lands? What challenges do they bring?

In my eyes, there are six areas that could become lands. What could they be named? Hmm lets see...the land above Mt. Shiveer could be Tundrainian (Ton-drain-e-un), the land above Appondale could be Snarrink (Snar-rick) Forest, the land below Appondale could be Tremmle (Trem-mel) Woods, the land below Jamaa Township could be Township Treis (Tree-is), the water next to that could be Township Treis Bay, and the water beside Coral Canyons could be CC Waters. 

DO NOT STEAL MY NAMES!

It's just a little something to ponder. What would you name these lands? Maybe we can send our ideas in to Animal Jam Headquarters! I can't really do a More Information thing on this, because none of these lands have actual names. But the names above are what we shall call those mysterious lands on this blog.

Heart Giant Candy Canes

Here's a little something for you...it's pretty cool!

Two Giant Candy Canes make a heart with now bottom! Cute! I kind of used it as an archway in my den, if anyone would like to see.

Coral Canyons-Bridge Breaking

Does the bridge really break?

This is a question almost every Jammer asks. Does it really break? Hundreds of Jammers have tried and to no avail. However, some say it is possible and will not give up. I've tried only a few times, really, but it's never busted. There are no clues around the bridge that could lead us to think that it breaks. Perhaps this has something to do with the wolf alpha, Greely. It is told that Greely lives where Best Dressed (land) now is. When we Jammers try to break the bridge, do we suppose Greely will come out? I've actually never thought about that theory until now, but it could make sense, no? Post in the comments what you think and you can also post your own theories.

Further Location: At the top of Coral Canyons, to the right of the Den Shop and to the left of the game, Sky High.

Theory: Breaking the bridge makes Greely come out. (This is a wild theory, but a theory nonetheless).

Campfire in Mt. Shiveer

Why was the campfire put there in the first place?

There is a campfire in Mt. Shiveer. Was is built many years ago, a beacon for travelers? A spot for warmth? Was this small built simply to roast a few marsh-mellows? Did the alphas camp there over-night? Was the fire built the day they found Mt. Shiveer? Put your theory in the comments!

Further Location: In Mt. Shiveer, directly below Gem Breaker (a game).

Theory: An alpha may have built it years ago for certain purposes, and it could have possibly been re-stoked over time.

River: Tree House Den

Ever wondered what the river in the Tree House den leads to?

(This is nytefaerie's den).

In the Tree House den, there is a river winding through it. Where does it lead? It surely does at a foresty appearance to the scene. Do you think this den was originally constructed in right between the Lost Temple of Zios and Serepia Forest? It has the river of the Lost Temple of Zios, and the forest appearance of Serepia Forest. Does the river wind down to Jamaa Township? 

More Info:

Location: It is a den, so it has to real location. If it were to be located, I would say between the Lost Temple of Zios and Serepia Forest.

Further Location: I don't think it's possible to locate it any further, but I'd say the Tree House den was built beside the Lost Temple of Zios's river. 

 Theory: The river leads down to Jamaa Township. This can't be proven though. It may wind off somewhere into an unknown land that hasn't been opened to Jamaa yet.

Crystal Sands: Christmas In July

This time of year, all of the lands are decorated with ornaments and candy canes and ribbons and presents. I was walking around in Crystal Sands when I came across a palm tree decorated with ornaments.

It kind of feels like Christmas in July, to me. I guess this isn't really a mystery. But because Crystal Sands is always very sunny and has no snow whatsoever, it gives you the feel of Christmas in July, at least for me. 

 And as you know, the very top tunnel in Crystal Sands leads out into Mt. Shiveer. Wouldn't some snow slide out into Crystal Sands from the tunnel? Or would the sun melt it away before anyone could even peek at it? Oh yeah and I don't think I'll do the 'More Info' thing because this is kind of just something I noticed.

BTW, THE COSTUME PARTY IS CANCELED!

Mysterious Lights

Lights. They can be haunting or friendly. The ones above sometimes appear both to me. But the real question is, who put them there? Why? Did an alpha put the lights there to light the way for travelers?

Mysterious Clock-tower

Another mystery for you! c: I'm not sure if I said so before, but you can e-mail me (animaljamexplorerclub@gmail.com) some myths that you have found or some glitches or a good place to have a party! Anyway, here is our mystery:

It's actually not this big, I made it bigger so everyone could see it better.

It looks like it's a clock-tower! What would a clock-tower be doing in the Flag Shop's window? There are now clock-towers in Jamaa, and there certainly isn't one hanging around Serepia Forest! Why do you guys think it's there? I really have no idea. It seems to be night in the background, and you can see the moon shining. So....hmm. I don't want to say it, but I'm stumped. Perhaps you guys can think of some good theories! I will fill in the best theory in the theory line down there.

Further Location: In the Flag Shop at the top of Serepia Forest.

Vase of.........Sticks?

I had just been visiting the Hot Cocoa Hut to see if there was anything unusual in there. And there was. Probably because every shop and land has it's secrets. Continuing on! 

This is what look like a vase of sticks. But let's think outside-the-vase (lol, instead of outside-the-box). What if the vase has incense in it, and the sticks are in there so when you turn them around (incencsed end on top) the place it is in smells good? 

What do you guys think!?

Location: Hot Cocoa Hut, Mt. Shiveer

Further Location: If you are walking out of the Hot Cocoa Hut, the vase would be to your left.If you were walking it, it would be to right. Either way, it's right behind the treasure chest. 

Theory: The theory is that the sticks in this vase have incense on them, and the vase has incense in it.

Hopping on Ice Theory

So I was thinking to myself today, why not start from the very top - Mt. Shiveer - looking for mysteries and/or myths? Well, I did find something. I found these two signs, I'm sure most of you have noticed them before:

Maybe these signs led us to believe that the ice could crack? Or are they just there for decoration? On the top sign ( the red one with the black exclamation point) if you look closely you can see a smaller crack coming out from underneath it. Anyone in beta days, as they seem to be called, was Mt. Shiveer a land yet? Were these signs here as well? If so, do they look the same since beta days?

Theory: These signs led us to believe the ice could crack. If the ice can crack, we don't know. 

Further Location: The sign with the red border and black exclamation point is towards the bottom/front of the ice patch and the other sign with the yellow and black stripes is near the back of the ice.
