Why was the campfire put there in the first place?
There is a campfire in Mt. Shiveer. Was is built many years ago, a beacon for travelers? A spot for warmth? Was this small built simply to roast a few marsh-mellows? Did the alphas camp there over-night? Was the fire built the day they found Mt. Shiveer? Put your theory in the comments!

Further Location: In Mt. Shiveer, directly below Gem Breaker (a game).
Theory: An alpha may have built it years ago for certain purposes, and it could have possibly been re-stoked over time.
I think Harper put it there for good times, so when her warm-environment friends came to visit they could stay warm~and chill out at the same time!
